PIPPA THE GARDENER

WHERE

Based around Devizes, surrounding the villages and towns of mid Wiltshire including Salisbury,

Swindon and Malmesbury.

WHAT?

Working includes;

  • regular weekly maintenance of lawns, shrubs, flower beds and wildlife ponds

  • renovation work on forgotten garden spaces

  • mentor gardening alongside the garden owner

  • garden development through flower, shrub and tree planting

  • bespoke garden creative projects for children, adults and charities

NATURE AS A RESOURCE FOR THE INDIVIDUAL.

Everything flower, shrub, tree is story, a mystery waiting to be revealed.

The lists of plants is endless and we each have our own ideas of what is beautiful, colourful, scented

and special. The senses can invoke deep connection and memory, especially smell. This can be therapeutic

on many levels including with grief, anxiety and trauma.

YOU AND PLANTS

Your garden is an extension of your self expression, it is another room to your home and it is an adventure

waiting for you to begin. From a flower box to a sweeping border of herbaceous perennials your garden

space is a precious place for connection to nature, well being and sensory experience.

For many adults, gardening can seem daunting and yet, so many of us have positive memories of

outdoor play and experiences from childhood which exist because of gardens in our past.

I work to demystify gardening and to create spaces which adults can enjoy rather than feel

over-whelmed by. Planting and maintenance is based around the clients bespoke needs. I work intuitively

with my clients, developing and creating planting over time; rather calling myself a sympathetic

gardener than a garden designer!

YOUR GARDEN

I support the yearly upkeep of gardens, working to show off the best of nature in your garden space

at any moment in the year.

Rich composting is an important part of all plant care as well as watering and summer feeding.

Our seasons allow pathways to experience the continuous cycles of life, growth, harvest, decay,

death and regeneration in a day, a month, a year, a lifetime. Your garden, your space, your well-being.
